Pu-erh tea is a type of tea made from a large leaf variety of the tea plant.

The finest leaves are reserved for aged teas and Pu-erh is the only tea in the world that will improve with age. Pu-erh is sought after not only for its unique taste, but also for its medicinal qualities. 

Chinese herbalists have believed for centuries, that Pu-erh stimulates digestion, lowers cholesterol and helps with weight loss.  Pu-erh can also help relieve the symptoms of alcohol consumption.
