Hibiscus is an herb consumed both hot and cold by people around the world. Hibiscus contains vitamins and minerals and is used to help lower cholesterol and blood pressure. It also provides excellent support for the immune system. Steeping Instructions: Use 1tsp of tea per 6oz cup. Steep for 5-7 minutes in boiling water.

I was actually a little surprised at how tart this tea was considering the others I had purchased were more on the sweet side. I had to add some sugar in it to make it a little less tart; maybe I steeped it for too long. That said, once I added some sugar, I found it tasted quite good and didn't have a bitter aftertaste. I would probably buy this again.
