Variation in Grading

My first purchase of Organic Gunpowder tea from Steeped & Infused led to a fantastic set of months. The tea was of either high or special grade and possessed a sweet aroma and a taste to match. The leaves, when unfurled, were intact and small. Looks like a first harvest. It was also uncommonly strong, so one had to be careful of steeping times. 5 Stars.

My second 250g bag of Organic Gunpowder just arrived, and it does have a very similar taste but seems to be either a different grade or from a different harvest. It lacks the sweet aroma and is a little more tame. Definitely acceptable and a step above most green teas :)

Wishing for more consistent grading or the option to pay a little more for special grade tea when it becomes available.
