Peppermint, like many herbs and spices is known to have many medicinal properties. Some of the common uses for peppermint are to aid digestion, relieve an upset stomach, treat irritable bowel syndrome, fight bad breath, help clear congestion and coughing and relieve stress. Peppermint inhibits the growth of certain bacteria and can help soothe and relax muscles when infusions are inhaled or applied to the skin. Peppermint has a superior flavour and is refreshing when served both hot and cold. Steeping Instructions: Use 1tsp of tea per 6oz cup. Steep for 5-7 minutes in boiling water.
